Duties and Responsibilities:
- Electrician Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring and lighting systems including breaker panels, motor controls, transformers, cable systems, and control systems.
- Perform maintenance on battery-powered emergency lights, and fan motors.
- Help coordinate the movement of material to work locations.
- Supervise apprentices teaching basic electrical skills.
- Assemble Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, lighting systems, equipment, appliances, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
- Inspect transformers circuit breakers and other electrical components.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
- Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
- Circuit breaker corrective maintenance.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
- Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.
Education/ Experience Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Delaware electrical license.
- Previous residential electrical experience preferred.
- Must know how to read technical diagrams and blueprints.
- Good knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems.
- Good knowledge of various test equipment.
- Know National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.
